Angel first came to our shelter as a very timid dog. Everything was new and frightening to her, and she would have preferred to stay invisible. Yet even then, she showed her gentle and kind nature – never food-aggressive and always friendly.

Since early July, Angel has been living with a foster family in Germany and has already learned so much. She is house-trained, walks nicely on the leash, and can stay alone for 5–6 hours without any problems. At home she feels safest, where she can relax and enjoy the closeness of her trusted people.

Angel gets along well with children, other dogs, cats, and people in general. Outdoors, unfamiliar situations can still make her anxious, and she may pull on the leash when unsure. With patience, calm guidance, and a confident human by her side, she is steadily gaining confidence. Car rides are still a challenge for her, as she tends to hide under the seat.

Angel is gentle, friendly, and good-natured – a dog who is also suitable for first-time owners. She needs time to build trust, but those who give her that gift will be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion. A confident resident dog could help her feel even more secure, but it is not a requirement.

Angel kam als sehr ängstliche Hündin in unser Shelter. Alles war ihr fremd, und am liebsten hätte sie sich unsichtbar gemacht. Doch schon dort zeigte sie ihre sanfte, gutmütige Seite – ohne Futterneid und stets freundlich.

Seit Anfang Juli lebt Angel auf einer Pflegestelle in Deutschland und hat dort bereits vieles gelernt. Sie ist stubenrein, läuft schön an der Leine und kann problemlos 5–6 Stunden alleine bleiben. Zuhause fühlt sie sich am sichersten, dort entspannt sie sich und genießt die Nähe ihrer Bezugspersonen.

Angel versteht sich sowohl mit Kindern, anderen Hunden, Katzen als auch allgemein mit Menschen. Draußen reagiert sie in unbekannten Situationen noch ängstlich und zieht dann auch mal an der Leine, doch mit Ruhe, Geduld und einem souveränen Menschen an ihrer Seite wird sie immer sicherer. Autofahren macht ihr derzeit noch Angst – sie versteckt sich am liebsten unter dem Sitz.

Angel ist sanft, freundlich und gutmütig – ein Hund, der auch für Anfänger geeignet ist. Sie braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen, doch wer ihr diese schenkt, wird mit einer treuen und liebevollen Begleiterin belohnt. Ein souveräner Ersthund würde ihr zusätzliche Sicherheit geben, ist aber kein Muss.
